Junk Genius truck loaded with rubbish Auckland

Our Story

Not a Call Centre. Not a Franchise.

Junk Genius is a family business built on doing the job properly. When you contact us, you're not going through a booking platform or talking to a contractor who'll subcontract it out. You're talking to the team who'll actually show up.

We started because we saw how often Auckland households and businesses struggled to get reliable removal services at a fair price — jobs that got cancelled, teams that left things behind, pricing that changed on the day. We do it differently.

Three trucks on the road means we can take on volume. Being family-run means we care about the reputation we're building — every job matters, because every job is our name on the line.

How We Work

What You Can Expect from Junk Genius

We Show Up When We Say

We confirm a time and we stick to it. If something changes, we call ahead — not after.

Straight Pricing

You get a price before we start. It doesn't change unless you add to the job — and we'll tell you first if it does.

You Deal With Us Directly

No middlemen, no contractors, no call centres. The team you book is the team that turns up.

Certified to Work Anywhere

Sitewise Health & Safety certified for commercial sites. GST registered. Invoices provided as standard.

Same Day Available

Three trucks means we can often accommodate urgent jobs the same day. Just ask when you call.

Based in Kumeu, Auckland

We're a local team covering all of Greater Auckland — not a national brand with a local number.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent results! Great communication. Fast and responsive. Professional work. Highly recommended. With short-ish notice the team were able to mow and remove high grass and weeds, remove detritus, accumulated and dumped rubbish, from a property in West Auckland. Owen was quick to answer and communicate, sent updates, while the team got stuck in and did a thorough and professional tidy. Also providing options for a regular mow and trim.
Highly recommend to anyone needing a one off or a regular service.
